stir fried Liver with sherry

Very tasty! If you run out of ideas and want something different on your table try this.


400g beef liver
1 big onion
2 stalks celery
30 ml Sherry
2 tbsp Oyster sauce
4 tbsp Ketchup manis
1 tbsp honey
3 chilli padi

Salt / Pepper to taste

Wash the liver under running water. Pat dry and slice thinly. Slice the onions and celery stalk into thin slices too. Heat up your pan with 3 tbsp oil. When the oil is hot, brown your garlic until golden, then stir fry the liver for a few minutes. Just before it is cooked, add a dash of sherry, and austern sauce, ketchap manis and the honey. Add celery chilly and onions, and stir fry for another 3 minutes. Add salt or fish sauce and pepper to taste. Serve hot with rice.
